ART X POWER

FISCAL WELLNESS = EARN. SAVE. INVEST.

CREATIVE WELLNESS = EXPERIMENT. PLAY. REST.

A RADICAL APPROACH TO INVESTING IN BLACK CREATIVES

Over the past 3 years, 7NMS has been growing a platform called Art x Power.

This initiative will birth a Fellowship that provides monetary and financial investment support, paired with an incubative residency in our very own curated living and home-studio spaces: Saturn: THE MVMT Lab & ASIS Studios in Pasadena, CA.

Art x Power invites artists to rest, create, and most importantly, to Dream.

In 2021-2022 7NMS was awarded sizable support from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and the WHH Foundation for Strategic Planning and pilot programming. On Thursday Dec 7, 2023 5pm -8pm pst 7NMS is hosting an invite-only gathering to experience their studios and launch the Art x Power Platform, in preparation for a Year 1: Building Operations. This event will occur both in-person and via Zoom, for their networks on both coasts.

This moment has been years in the making. We have many to thank along that journey. Among them are:

ART X POWER FELLOWSHIP

The Art x Power Fellowship is a subsidiary project of 7NMS, and functions as a comprehensive twelve-month fellowship and creative incubator dedicated to fueling Black purpose and innovation by cultivating fiscal and creative wellness.

In a time that demands radical shifts and approaches to building resilient futures, the Art x Power fellowship emerges as a dedicated pathway and model toward long-term financial stability and creative sanctuary.

Over the course of a 3 year pilot program, the Art x Power Fellowship’s bilateral approach will offer nine Black Performance Artists sustained and flexible financial support, while providing dedicated space and opportunities to rest, dream, and play.

BUILD A MOVEMENT. FUND THE ARTIST.

Are you an organization with Artists that might benefit from this kind of Dream Space?

Are you an Artist with Fellowship Support that might be best used here?
